HONEY TURMERIC LATTE


If you've never tried a homemade turmeric latte then now is the time! Full of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties, what more could you ask for in a delicious, creamy, steaming hot drink? Here's our favourite recipe to make your own turmeric syrup. 


Ingredients:


1 cup coconut milk 


2 Tbsp ME Mānuka honey 


1/2 Tbsp ground turmeric 


1 tsp vanilla extract 


1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 


1/2 tsp ground ginger


1 star anise pod (optional) 


 


Method: 


1. Whisk the ingredients together in a small bowl to make your turmeric syrup. 


2. Mix 1/4 cup of turmeric syrup with 1 cup milk of choice.


3. Heat gently over medium-low heat in a saucepan. 


4. Serve immediately. The remainder of the turmeric syrup will last a week refrigerated.
